Tolga is a Managing Partner of TRPE Venture Partners.
Following 7 years as a Technology Group Director, reporting to the CEO of Netas, one of the largest Systems Integrators in Turkey, Tolga Gures worked on the establishment of Netas Wesley Clover Tech Fund, a venture capital fund investing in technology companies. He is the managing partner of TRPE Venture Partners B.V. since 2013 and serves as an independent investment committee member of ACT Ventures, an early stage technology and IP intensive venture capital fund and a board member of 5 technology companies; Twentify, Pisano, CreatorDen, Startsub and Iven. He also volunteers as a mentor to several start-up accelerators and incubators.
Tolga graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Electronics and Communication sciences in 1997. He is married and has two children. He speaks English and German.
Zeynep Zorlu is a partner of TRPE Venture Partners. In this role, she initiates portfolio companies customer development efforts, identifies new business opportunities, and tracks their growth. Zeynep is a Class 20 Kauffman Fellow.
Zeynep has a particular interest in companies that address real customer problems, with high growth potential in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector and with a greater focus on B2B solutions. She is a board member at Creatorden and a board observer at Twentify Corporation, Pisano, Deriva, Iven, and Startsub.
Stepping into the business life at Pfizer Turkey, Zeynep filled various posts in corporate strategy development and business intelligence departments. Later on, she worked with Zorlu Property Group in specific projects for Zorlu Center, a mixed-use property development investment of $2.5B. In 2014, she joined the fund management team at TRPE Venture Partners.
Born in Istanbul in 1984, Zeynep graduated from Istanbul American Robert College and Istanbul Koc University with a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering. She earned her Master of Science (MSc) in International Management at University of Essex and completed New York University (NYU) Foundations, Fundraising and Grant Making graduate program. She is currently a Master of Arts (MA) candidate in Cultural Management at Istanbul Bilgi University. Zeynep is a member of SAHA Association, and Turkish Underwater Sports Federation. She is a CMAS certified SCUBA diving instructor and BBU certified pilates instructor. Zeynep is married, with one child.

Prior to joining TRPE Venture Partners, he was the Business Development Manager, reporting to the CEO of Saran Online, a unit of Saran Holding, responsible for the investments on digital publications and Internet sector.
During his professional life, he has been involved in every stage of various startups responsible for product management and go to market strategies.
He graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Control Engineering in 2006 and holds a MBA degree from Bosphorus University.
Sir Terry is Chairman of Wesley Clover and also serves as Chairman of Mitel Networks Corporation
Earlier in his career, he served as CEO and Chairman of Newbridge Networks Corporation, a company he founded in 1986. Providing leadership and vision for 14 years, Sir Terry helped Newbridge become a leader in the worldwide data networking industry. When France-based Alcatel acquired Newbridge in May 2000, the company employed more than 6,500 employees and recorded FY 1999 revenue of CAD 1.8 billion and a 4th quarter run rate of approximately CAD 3 billion for FY2000. In 1972, before launching Newbridge, Sir Terry cofounded Mitel Corporation. Under his leadership, Mitel grew quickly to become a world leader in the design and manufacture of enterprise voice systems and products. In 1985, British Telecom bought controlling interest in Mitel.
In 2001, Sir Terry purchased the worldwide Communications Systems division of Mitel Corporation and the Mitel name, and remains a significant owner and non-executive Chairman of Mitel Networks Corporation, a company focused on providing next generation software based telephony solutions. Sir Terry also serves as Chairman or member of the board of directors for a number of high-technology companies including Solace Systems Corporation, Dragonwave Inc. and Counterpath Corporation.
Sir Terry holds an honours degree in electronics from the University of Wales and is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical Engineers and of the Royal Academy of Engineering. He has been awarded honorary doctorates by several universities, including the University of Wales, University of Bath and Carleton University in Ottawa. In 1994, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, and in the 2001 Queen's Birthday Honours, he was awarded a
Knighthood. In 2011, he was appointed Patron of the European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute.
Born in Merzifon, Turkey in 1954, Mr. Altay received his B.Sc. degree from Istanbul Technical University, Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. He also holds a Master's degree from Bosphorus University.
Mr. Altay commenced his professional life as a Research Assistant at TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) in 1978. In 1981, he joined NetaÅŸ as R&D Engineer. During his various positions within the department for 16 years, he has contributed to the successful growth of NetaÅŸ R&D. After serving as R&D Group Director from 1992 to 1997, he has worked in Nortel Networks UK plc in 1997. After his return to NetaÅŸ as Alternate Operator Sales Group Director in 1998, he received Nortel's "Masters" Award in 2001 due to his contribution in the development and growth of the company's business with Alternate Operators. In 2002, Mr. Altay was appointed as Vice President, Turk Telekom Sales and Marketing. He has been working as NetaÅŸ General Manager since December 2004.
With a concentrated focus in R&D and innovation, Mr. Altay holds memberships and active presence in various non-governmental business organizations. Altay has been involved in the National Innovation Initiative and served in Istanbul Chamber of Industry Professional Committee, Turkey Science Centers Foundation and Turkish Electronics Industry Association (TESÄ°D) at the Board level. He has been elected as Board member to YASED International Investors Association in 2009 and Chairman of the Board of Directors of TESÄ°D in January 2010. Altay currently acts as the Chairman of Information Technologies and Telecommunication Study Groups and eTR Awards Steering Committee of TÃœSÄ°AD (Turkish Industry and Business Association).
Memet is a Founding Partner of TRPE. Memet currently serves on the boards of Netas Telekomunikasyon AS, Probil and BDH Services.
Prior to TRPE, he has led the private equity and venture capital investment teams at Rhea Asset Management. Before Rhea, he has spent 17 years in the US in various private equity investment management, operating and consulting roles. Memet is a member of the Executive Alumni Council at the University of Rochester and the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey.
Previously, Memet served as the chairman of Dentistanbul, Seta Medical Devices, Netsafe Information Security Technologies and as a board member of RML Logistics and Maritime.
Memet holds a B.S. degree in Engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul and an MBA degree from University of Rochester, Simon Business School.

Simon J. Gibson is the founding Trustee of the Alacrity Foundation and Chief Executive of Wesley Clover Corporation. He has broad management experience in high-technology industries in both North America and Europe. Before joining Wesley Clover, he was co-founder, President and CEO of Ubiquity Software Corporation. Ubiquity was named Innovator of the year in 2001 by the British Venture Capital Association and in 2007 Ubiquity was acquired by Avaya Inc. He has also served as VP of Marketing Communications at Newbridge Networks Corporation and in Product Management roles at Mitel.
HHe has been the recipient of four national R&D awards and was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to industry and to the community in South Wales in the 1999 Queenâ€™s Birthday Honors list. He is an advisor to several government bodies including the National Economic Research Advisory Panel. He recently chaired an independent panel evaluating the commercialization issues in Higher Education on behalf of the National Assembly for Wales. Simon is the chair of Digital Wales and served as a member of Ofcomâ€™s National Advisory Committee.
He is also a Regent of Harris Manchester College at the University of Oxford, a member of the Council of Cardiff University and a member of the International Advisory Panel of Cardiff Business School. He chairs the Institute of Advanced Broadcasting and is the Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Wales, Newport. Simon is Patron of the Employability Academy at Swansea University.
Ben Morris is currently the Vice President of Sales for Wesley Clover in Ottawa, Canada
Ben overseas the day-to- day business development, sales and marketing operations for Wesley Clover companies and currently advises YUPIQ, GlitchSoft, Solink, Martello Technologies, Toushay, Benbria, Teldio, NetVitesse, AirVM amongst other startup to mid-size tech firms.
Ben is responsible for guiding each company he advises through sales, contracts, marketing and logistics issues by leveraging his in-depth expertise on the wireless and telecom industries and his extensive network of industry contacts. Ben has been involved in every stage of the product lifecycle covering a diverse background of small startups to publicly listed companies.
Ben also volunteers his time as a board advisor and mentor to several unrelated companies including Granite Networks, Canadaâ€™s newest Tier 3 data collocation center and cloud provider.
